Initial Light

The intial taste was kind of fruity and sweet tasting. After about a half inch or so it started to pick up with a little bit of spice and pepper.

First 1/3:

This is a smaller vitola than I'm used to so it produced a little less smoke than I like and I found myself puffing a little harder than I normally do to try and get more smoke.

Second 1/3:

After the first third the sweetness went away and the cigar seems to be growing in strength. It held a very nice and firm ash for such a small ring gauge. The burn was perfect.

Final 1/3:

The cigar was going nicely and had just the right amount of burn on the retrohale. In the final third it really mellowed out and the spice went away. The only real flavor I could determine was kind of woodsy, and it continued to be a great smoke right down to the nub.
