Initial Light

The cigar always lights easily and evenly. I\'ve yet to see any flare-ups or dead spots. However, the Suprema size often arrives too tightly packed, making for a difficult draw. The black Oscuro wrapper
gives the impression that it\'s going to be a full bodied stick that will club you over the head, but that\'s more appearance than reality.

First 1/3:

The first third of this cigar is great, with strong notes of cocoa, cinnamon and nutmeg. This is my favorite part of this particular cigar. If you\'ve got one that isn\'t rolled too tightly, the cigar is magnificent right off the bat.

Second 1/3:

This is where things sometimes get less than ideal. I\'ve smoked many of these cigars, and generally found them to deteriorate (in terms of flavor) about the mid-way point. However, the ash is usually still there, about three inches of snow-white perfection! This cigar has the best ash, bar none. The wrapper usually has a perfect ring around it.

Final 1/3:

i have never been able to finish this otherwise very good cigar. The last third smells like a burning tire, and the taste is often bitter and heavy. Not very enjoyable at all.

Even so, I still smoke the El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Suprema once in a while because the first half is so damn good.....and at the price Julian at cigarplace.biz has them for, I\'m ok with that.

I know this is a strange review, praising a cigar that for me is awful at the end. But I still recommend it nonetheless.
