I only smoke flavored cigars and you don't see too many reviews of them on these sites so I thought I'd do a couple. Here's a tip for you regular cigar smokers - don't keep flavored cigars in a humidor with regular cigars. I gave a few samples to a friend of mine and the flavors transferred to his other cigars - he wasn't pleased! Also, keep any cello etc wrappers on in the humidor.
Anyway - here goes with the Juicy Lucy.
The burn was as good as perfect on this cigar. The first thing you notice as you light this cigar is the sweet sugary tip.
With the first few puffs you get the chocolate flavor as well. If you have eaten Cocoa Puffs - that's the flavor combination. (You have got to like sweet if you smoke one of these!)
Once you get into the second third the sweetness starts to wear off and you get more of flavors of the Nicaraguan tobaccos, giving extra earthy flavors to go with the chocolate, plus some spicy hints. Good strong ash.
At only 3 inches long they are not a long smoke. You also get a slightly bitter aftertaste at the end, as you do with a lot of flavored cigars. The Jucy Lucy was surprisingly complex really - very smooth - the girls seem to like it too! Not as good as the Kuba Kuba which is my favorite, but not bad - I'd certainly smoke a box of 40.
