Initial Light

Almost perfect burn from the start - no runs, very consistent. The draw was nicely tight but any initial flavor was totally dominated by the sweetness.

First 1/3:

Getting into the first third of the cigar you could just make out a subtle hint of vanilla but it was so overpowered by the sweetness that you had to concentrate hard to find it. But I just couldn't detect any real tobacco flavor in there at all.

Second 1/3:

I thought it might be picking up about half way in when I got a little kick of pepper, but as soon as it was there it was gone again. However, at last some tobacco flavor came through over the vanilla, although both were still too dominated by the sweetness for my taste.

Final 1/3:

And that was pretty well the state of play for the final length. All in all it was a touch on the mild side for my liking, and all together too sweet. They are a smooth smoke and not unpleasant as long as you have a very sweet tooth. I have to say I gave quite a few away to get rid of them and I can't see myself getting anymore. I am always up for trying something new - some you win some you lose!
