Initial Light

This cigar was smooth and enjoyable from the first puff. It gave off lots of smoke from the start and nice even burn.

First 1/3:

The draw was easy and smooth and the body was medium at the start with a nutty, mild coffee flavor that left a crisp & clean flavor on the palate. Very enjoyable!

Second 1/3:

As I got into the second third of the cigar the nutty flavor gave way to more of a leathery taste - slightly woody. It also began to get a little more full bodied as well but the smoothness remained and it was still easy on the palate.

Final 1/3:

This was very much how the cigar went into the last third, still smooth and building as the leather flavors began to dominate over the wood. It also developed a tang, probably due to the Sun-grown wrapper which added further to the change in pace. Altogether a very impressive smoke and certainly worth the $8 price tag. I actually invested just under $200 for a box of 24 because I liked them so much, but at that price I'll be saving the for special occasions!
