Initial Light

Initial light of the cigar is very easy, lots of smoke. My only complaint is it does not do much for the palate and is almost overwhelming.

First 1/3:

First third of the cigar is very very earthy. If you like a more rough smoke with lots of rich earth this cigar is perfect. I found the beginning to be almost bland with no notes or hints to speak of other than earth and some pepper.

Second 1/3:

The second third of the cigar is the only part I would say touched on enjoyable for me. It hits a sweet spot where the earthiness sort of mellows and there are hints of cocoa. If it would stay on this track I would give it a much higher rating but it hits the last third rather quickly and reverts back to its beginnings.

Final 1/3:

As I said the earthiness comes back and it comes back strong again. This trend continues for the rest of the cigar. Not a terrible smoke, but I wouldn't consider it great. To each his own and I believe this stick has it's place amongst the seasoned smokers who would appreciate its core flavor and consistency but I look for a bit more of a complex and tastier smoke with some flavor. Overall not bad, good construction, nice burn, but flavor was a bit bland for my liking.
